The VATS System has kept many thieves from stealing 1986-91 Corvettes, but it has also stranded a lot of owners if/or when it becomes inoperable! Bypass your VATS to enable a sure start, avoid expensive towing and repair costs. Also allows use of copied "spare" keys! Specify ignition key code, 1 to 15. Any GM dealer can access this code from your key. Switch on or off to safeguard against thieves or ensure a reliable start.

NOTE: If unsure of key code, a GM dealer can get this for you by taking them your key.
