What makes these  new Dash Shields from Ecklers better than those "dash caps" that were previously available?  First, these Dash Shields are constructed using the same ABS material  used to make the  reproduction Dash Pads. That means no paint that can fade or be scratched off.  You end up with a dash pad that is the correct color and stays that way. Second, for 1970-1977 Corvettes, the speaker holes are in the right place. No more muffled sounds due to improperly located holes or misshapen patterns.
