Custom Autosound began in 1977 with experiments converting AM/FM cassette players with first with the first modern radio installed on owner’s Carl Sprague’s 1963 Corvette. Custom Autosound began manufacturing their own line of products which now includes eight different radio models! The Custom Autosound line also includes speakers, CD players, upgrade systems and accessories. Custom Autosound offers OEM-fit radios for over 400 different year groups, makes and models of cars and trucks from the 1940s to the 1980s as well as the universal fits all Secretaudio AM/FM CD system!

The “C3” Corvette, a.k.a. third generation Corvette, was produced by General Motors for the 1968 – 1982 model years. The styling of the new C3 was considerably different than its predecessor with a longer, fully redesigned body and interior. However, designers still carried forward the shark like styling cues in the C3 coupe and C3 convertible versions.
