The famous Galaxy Glass T-Tops were given their name due to the near black smoked glass stealthy appearance they have from outside the car.  The deep shades on these tops offer a very attractive look, while also maintaining a low level of heat in the car on those hot summer days.  GM's OE manufacture Libbey Owens Ford (LOF) makes this dark smoke glass.  It is currently being used as standard rear tinted glass in nearly all Genereal Motors products.
