Why would you rebuild your old booster when you can get one of these brand new boosters for less? These boosters have the correct black coating, rivets, mounting studs, actuating pin with proper markings, yellow vacuum fitting with proper markings, brake pedal clevis with clevis pin and retainer, and correct rubber dust boot. These new boosters are reasonably priced and are correct. If you have an original booster and have it rebuilt and refinished it would cost more than these new units. In addition, when an old booster is refinished, they usually look awful when because it takes a lot of work to remove the decades of corrosion and pitting. With these 100% correct boosters there is no point rebuilding your old brake booster because the new units look better and cost less.
