This new power steering gear box kit includes what you need to eliminate the leaky cylinder and valve on factory power steering Corvettes. The 12:1 ratio steering box offers better steering than ever possible from the factory with 3-turn lock-to-lock performance.  To change over a Corvette with original power steering you need to remove the cylinder, brackets, hoses, and original gear box.  Next you install the Relay Rod Adapter in place of the factory control valve.  The spined portion of the steering column needs to be removed (simple, and no welding required).  Then you can install your new Borgeson box with the supplied rag joint, connect the new hose kit to box and original pump, and properly bleed the system (make sure you completely drain old fluid from the pump).

NOTE:  Steering Column Modifications Required (See Detailed Instructions In Kit).   Complete Alignment Recommended - You Will Want To Increase Caster To 3-4 Degrees Positive Which Further Improves Steering.
