Off-set upper control arm shaft kits are needed when the crossmember (sometimes referred to as the engine cradle) between the left and right frame rails has sagged. You will be aware this condition exists because the shims needed on the upper control arm shaft(s) will be very thick (often a 1/2" or thicker). Correcting this problem can be addressed with off-set upper control arm shaft kits.
