Product Details
One of the best modifications you can make to your C2 1963-1967 Corvette is to upgrade to modern EFI.  Electronic fuel injection provides numerous benefits including instant starts, crisp immediate throttle response, increased power and efficiency, better fuel mileage, and lower emissions.  The best conversion kits include in-tank fuel pumps.  Because they are surrounded by fuel, they keep your fuel pump cool and quiet...greatly improving fuel pump life and performance.  In-line fuel pumps are much noiser plus they heat soak and cavitate from the radiant heat on the road...compromising fuel pump longevity and performance.  So, in-tank fuel pumps are the way to go with EFI.     Installing a fuel pump in your factory gas tank requires draining your tank, cleaning it out, removing all rust and corrosion, and then taking it to a specialist to cut and weld on your factory fuel tank.  Plan on spending around $550-$750 and waiting at least 3-4 weeks for turnaround too.  Thats a lot of time and money and Eckler's Corvette has a far better, less expensive, and easier solution...an EFI ready gas tank.  Our 18-gallon pre-modified tanks take all of the hassle out of installing an in-tank fuel pump into your gas tank.  The fuel pump and sender are recessed in the tank so it looks like the factory did it.  You use one of five different GPS series in-tank fuel pumps...depending on your horsepower requirements.  These are designed for aftermarket 5-bolt fuel senders which is ideal because they provide a wide ohm range for use with the aftermarket gauge of your choice.  You can use your factory gauges but you'll need to purchase an Eckler's sender.  Internal baffling and a 4.3L internal fuel tray prevents fuel pump starvation.  Each kit includes mounting straps, an EFI ready gas tank with corrosion resistant galvanized steel and a durable silver powder coated finish.  Trust Eckler's Corvette for all your C2 1963, 1964, 1965, 1966, or 1967 performance, resto-mod, restoration, and accessory needs.1963-1967 (C2) Corvette EFI Ready Fuel Tank
