Door main weatherstripping, also called door mains, are subject to wear every time the doors are opened and closed. It's no wonder that they are usually the first piece of weatherstrip to wear out. The original GM weatherstrip did a fine job of sealing, but often split or cracked prematurely. Eckler's offers the best reproduction door main weatherstrip on the market. It seals as well as the original and lasts longer because of its construction. Made of synthetic foam rubber called ethylene propylene diene monomer or EPDM, it is far more durable than the original and its softness allows you to always close your doors easily.
