  This stylish 8-position tilt column is designed to fit your 1963-1966 Corvette and does NOT require modification to your original vehicle to install. Simply remove your old steering column, saving your original under dash mount and floor mount. A rag joint is required for installation and is used to attach the column to the gearbox. The original rag joint may be used as long as it's in good working condition, but it is recommended that you purchase a new one separately. Please Note: Tilt column with original wheel: 1/2" closer to the driver Tilt column with aftermarket wheel: 1-1/2" closer to the dash Steering Wheel Adapter Required: 1969 or Newer GM Passenger Car (for Aftermarket Wheel) Wiring Harness:  We offer a 4-way flasher kit in a separate listing.  It will not only add safety to your vehicle, but will also convert your original wiring harness to the 3 7/8" plug found on your Ididit column.
