Your C1 Corvette uses an antenna cable which is application specific.  Over time, this cable can stretch, fray, become brittle, and even snap.  If this is the case, you might get static over the radio instead of your favorite classic tunes or you might have a frustrating short!

The solution is this show quality reproduction that is made just like your original.  It features the correct serrated cast nut, RG69U coax cable, threaded collar on one end to connect to the antenna, a normal male end to connect to your radio, and a a collar with 9/16x 20 thread size.  Install this antenna cable and get your radio functioning properly again. NOTE: These cables contain a series capacitor, which reduces the antenna system's capacitance. This causes the antenna system capacity to fall within a range acceptable to the Delco radio receiver.

Caution: Do Not pass any current through the antenna cable, as you may short out the capacitor, leaving the cable inoperative! (Continuity must be checked with an instrument that measures capacity, Not an Ohmmeter). Once the cable is installed, removal may cause the female contact to become disengaged from the cable. In this occurs, carefully tuck the conductor wire and contact back in place. Do Not be alarmed by extra conductor wire, some slack is normally provided to allow for cables that are stretched during installation
