1: Here I am patching rust holes.
2: Here is my 14 year old son helping remove some of the old sound deadener. (I told him he may get to drive it someday!)
3: Working on the driver’s side, fixing someone’s cheap repair job with sheet metal and screws.
4: Cleaning up the original rusty pan to find original welds so I know where to cut.
5: Peeling back the old metal with air chisel.
6: Cutting out the old panel. I actually re-used the original brace because it was in such good condition. (Just primed it up.)
You can see I had a replacement on standby just in case...
7: All cut out and grinding to make the new panel fit.
8: More grinding and cleaning up old brace.
9: Cleaning up old metal for welding.
10: Fitting new pan
