Underneath the carpet is a polypropylene mesh material and latex backing that help the carpet hold its floor hugging shape followed by a water resistant backing that keeps water from ever reaching the carpet. Finally the Tractionbac composition rubber barrier provides a non-skid backing. In addition Lloyd Mats for Corvettes have two grommets so that the factory anchoring posts can be used.
