The Michelin® Pilot® Sport PS2® is Y-rated for speeds up to 186 MPH. It has a UTQG tread wear rating of 220 compared to the factory tire rating of 300. This rating, generally speaking, means that the Michelin® Pilot® Sport PS2® has a softer rubber tread compound that is "stickier" to provide greater traction. A "stickier" tire not only improves cornering, but braking performance as well! A quieter ride than with the factory tires is possible because the Michelin® Pilot® Sport PS2® has an acoustically tuned, asymmetric tread pattern.
