Tech Tip: To check your U-Joints, park your vehicle on a flat and level surface. Place your Corvette on jack stands or a lift. From underneath, rotate drive shaft or half shaft while watching U-Joints for excessive play. Also any time red "dust" is present on the U-Joint they should be replaced...this is rust!
Tech Tip: Replace your Corvette half shaft if there are any dents in the shafts, gouges or cracks in any part of the shafts, flanges or welds.
