This shift knob is made of high impact polymer resin, specifically formulated for the automobile industry, not to develop stress cracks with aging. The master insert in the shift knob exceeds the auto industries specification of 200 ft. lbs. static pull and 20 ft. lbs. twist torque test. Each knob is polished to a high gloss finish. Master insert is 16mm X 1.5 with reducers to accept 5/16"-18, 3/8"-16, 3/8"-24, and 1/2"-20 threads.
